The Last Seven — Wk. 32

Moved
Running and training felt steady this week. After weeks on the waitlist for Hyrox Dallas tickets, I finally snagged a pair for Men’s Doubles. Looks like I’ll be racing again - this time with my friend Eric. You can find my training log on Strava.
This week’s highlight was a 13.2-mile run on Sunday with my friend Alvaro, capping off a 40-mile week. The humidity made for less-than-pleasant conditions, but we got it done.
Learned
In quieter hours, I dove into a new course on the musical modes of the major scale, inspired by a recent lesson with my guitar teacher. The concept seems simple at first, but it’s far more intricate once you start unpacking the details. I'm having to take it in small doses.
Made
Progress on this website (including this new section), along with a few other personal projects. This week, I plan to carve out more time for my CS50 Python course after taking a short break.
Noted
One thought I kept circling back to: how do I balance creativity, sharing my work, and staying authentic - without being at the whims of an algorithm? I don’t have the answer yet.
Listened
Spent time with the very first Black Sabbath album this week. It's heavy and raw.
On to the next seven.
